It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecil D. DeMott (Remus, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley DeMott and Marvel DeMott (Blonshine); his sons, Sam and Charlie; his siblings, Richard DeMott (Retha) and Gail Patton (Clarence); and his grandsons, Larry Ryckman Jr. and Jordan Earl.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Sasha, Pauline Bolen, Nancy Emaus, Vicki Munro (Brian Woodman), Michelle Richards (Rick), Monica Doherty (Rick), Matthew Beardslee (Heather), Michele Beardslee (Dawn) and Jeremiah Welch (Alaina); and his sister Joyce Sredarsas (Kast). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
