He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee and Alma; his siblings, Carolyn, William, Viola, Olen, Orville and Wayne; and his son David.

He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Reed; his children, Bryan (Cindy), Julie, Darcy and Mark; his daughter-in-law Kim Lentz; his stepchildren, Chris, Kim and Dennis; and his grandchildren, Jared, Selena, Janell, Raymond, Eliza, Alanna, Jerri, Shane, Cody and Paige. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Bruce's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
