He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Doerr and Otilda Doerr (Schmitt); his wife Delores Marie Benfield (Dody); and his siblings, Catherine Thurston, Henry, Charles, Bernard and Wilfred Doerr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara Beck, Jill Hawley, Denise Warner (Tom), Michelle Tibbits (Rick) and Melissa Doerr. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael's Catholic Parish in Remus, MI and the VFW of Mecosta, MI.
