It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris C. Bauer of Reese, Michigan, who passed away on June 20, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heinlein and Alma Heinlein (Mueller); her husband Herbert Bauer; her siblings, Margaret Herzberg (Conrad), Florence Hartman (Frederick), Delbert Heinlein (Janet) and Edward Heinlein; and her sister-in-law Irlitta Huebner.
She is survived by: her sons, John M. Bauer and James D. Bauer (Rita Champine); her grandchildren, Amy Schiavone (Vincent), Melissa VanOcten (Keith), James William Bauer, Andrew Jason Bauer, Ashley DeBono (Ryan) and Joseph Genow; her great grandchildren, Caitlyn Malkuian (Matt), Alexander, Nicholas, Michael Schiavone, Evan DeBono, Drew VanOcten, Madline and Luke James Bauer; her great great grandchild Benjamin Michael Malkuian; and also Lisa Richards. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
