He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitchell and Maxine Mitchell (Stahl); his wife Nancy Mitchell (Turner); and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Mitchell (Ruth) of Harrietta, Bill Mitchell (Kate) of Reed City, Greg Mitchell (Cathy) of Florida and Scott Mitchell of North Carolina. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
