He is survived by: his children, Heather Cox of Big Rapids, Phillip Cox of Big Rapids, Ethan Cox of Big Rapids, Devin Cox of Reed City, Travis Cox of Reed City and Catherine Cox of Reed City; his siblings, Sue Bailey (Harvey) of Big Rapids, Angie Stevens (Dan) of Big Rapids, Wayne Cox (Cindy) of Reed City and Terry Cites of Washington State; and his significant other Andrea "Annie" Spohn. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
