He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Kailing and Rose Kailing (Knauf). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kailing (Schultz); his children, Sally Kailing, Rick Kailing and Ronald Kailing (Chantelle); his stepchildren, David Ruppert II (Donna), Jody Raby, Leonard Ruppert (Carrolin) and Peggy Brooks (Brian); and his siblings, Joe Kailing, Deloris Cornelius (Phil), Evelyn Kidder (Russ), Robert Kailing (Mary), Phil Kailing (Elaine) and Elaine Carelton (Larry). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the family or to Spectrum Health Hospice.
