He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Halladay and Irene Halladay of Reed City; his brothers, Bud and Bruce (Barbara); his children, Paul, Jean and Julie; his son-in-law Thaddeus Brahman (Ted); and his grandchildren, Ashley and Jesse.

He is survived by: his brother Dave; his wife Barbara Hamilton; his daughters, Janet Ringler (Brian), Jennifer Brahman and Jill Trullinger (Kent); and also Sandy Romine.
