She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Wekenman; and her son Brian Wekenman. She is survived by: her children, Joe Wekenman (Lynn), Neal Wekenman (Shelly), Sue Bregg (Scott), Patti Sutton (Craig), Mary Park (Randy), Clark Wekenman (Liz) and Laura Wekenman; and her daughter-in-law Linda Wekenman. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to either the Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Susan P. Wheatlake Cancer Center.
