It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Margaret Baar of Reed City, Michigan, born in Watersmeet, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone Vandervest and Mae Kinney; her husband Edward Baar; her granddaughter Sarah; and her siblings, Vion Steinhaus, Doris Schultz, Vandervest, Donald, Marvin, Howard, Jack, Floyd, Raymond and Elmer.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Baar (Karen) of Reed City and LuAnne Baar of Rockford; her grandson Eric Baar (Jennifer); her great grandchild Ryan of West Jordan; her granddaughter Erica of Rockford; her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Peterson of Marion, Amiel Larson of Reed City and Steve Bolton of Trufant; and her siblings, William Benjamin Jr., Phyllis Larson and Marilyn Bolton.
In fulfilling Ellen's wishes, there will be no service due to the COVID epidemic.
In Ellen's memory, memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Reed City.
