She was predeceased by: her son Joseph Giese; and her siblings, Don, Jim, David Minier, Marilyn Beronja, Joyce VanBlarcum and Mary Kidder.

She is survived by: her husband Ivan Giese; her children, Michael (Carole McNamara) of Battle Creek, MI, Samuel Giese (Ronda) of Sheridan and Michelle Giese (Tammy Tortorelli) of Louisville, KY; and her brothers, Kenneth and Carl Minier. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
