He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vessella and Hattie Vessella; and his brother Artie Vessella. He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Perkins and Yvette Foy (Rob); his grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, Holly, Allie and Addison; and his girlfriend Edna Kelsey.
