She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Patrick McNamara and Nora McNamara; her husband Richard Desmond; her children, Maureen Ziobro (Martin) and Richard Desmond (Ashley); her grandchildren, Megan Tierney (Michael), Mackenzie Ziobro and Mallory Ziobro; and her siblings, Marie Green, John, Robert, Patrick, Thomas, Charles and Eileen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
