She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Micnerski and Dorothy Micnerski (Novak). She is survived by: her husband David Drake; her children, Sheila Larkins (Ryan) and David Drake (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Paige, Amber and Aiden Drake; and her sister Mara Donathan.

In honor of Karen's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ASPCA, as a testament to her love for animals.
