She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Reinicke and Elisabeth Reinicke; and her husband Claus Schaefer. She is survived by: her children, Hans Schaefer (Sue) of Livonia, Bernard Schaefer (Kimberly) of Grand Rapids, Heide Larsen (Dennis) of Idaho Falls, ID and Mark Schaefer (Beth Weinberger) of Branford, CT; her grandchildren, Eric Schaefer (Audi) of Denver, CO, Kristen Stimson (Patrick) of Denver, CO, Rachel Popour of Livonia, Grace Schaefer of Livonia, Gwen Schaefer of Grand Rapids, Bernard Schaefer (Martice) of Grand Rapids, Christopher Simmons of Grand Rapids, Hailey Caudle (Jesse) of Seattle, WA, Taylor Oekerman (Dan) of Murray, KY, Simon Schaefer and Kira Schaefer of Branford, CT; and her great grandchildren, Donovan Thames, Calvin Schaefer and Laila Schaefer.
