She was predeceased by: her husband John Humphries; her parents, Dorothy and Charles; and her stepfather Francis Cushing. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Debra), Lisa, Bill and Jeff; her brother David (Ruth); and her brother-in-law Charles (Eleanor). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In her later years, Diane struggled mightily with the devastating effects of Alzheimer's type dementia.
