He is survived by: his parents, Robert Salem and Deborah Salem; his grandmothers, Virginia Carnahan and Joyce Salem; his aunts and uncles, Denise Curtiss (Ralph), Linda Pierceall (Mike), Kenny Morgan, Jeff Salem (Jody) and Greg Salem; his cousins, Chad McDonald (Michelle), Shaun McDonald, Kristy Carter (Greg) and Delaney Morgan; and his girlfriend Allison Munguia.
