Samuel Duane Southworth Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Duane Southworth of Reading, Michigan, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Southworth and Beatrice Southworth (Wilson); and his wife Beverly (Sawyer). He is survived by: his children, Denise Patchett (Tim) of Rockville, IN, Kathy Black (Carl) of Jonesville, Laura Lewis (Jim) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Duane Southworth of Reading; and his grandchildren, Darienne Wesselman (Michael), Tristan Patchett (Allison), Galen Patchett (Emily), Ashley Risher (Mike), Tyler Black, Samuel Black, Christina Byrer (Brent), James Lewis III, Benjamin Lewis, Nicole Aube (Brett) and Ashley Taquino. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions will be donated to a local HAM Radio Club in his honor.
