With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Burke of Reading, Michigan, born in Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Burke and Marguerite Burke (Warren); and his brother-in-law Thomas Rice. He is survived by : his wife Sharon (Ashton); his daughters, Jennifer Kast (John) of Reading and Gretchen Hutchinson (Rob) of Creal Springs, Illinois; his siblings, Ron Burke (Kathy), Doug Burke (Rosemary), Carol Esterline (Doug), Steve Burke (Suzy), Dave Burke (Debbie), Tom Burke (Victoria), Cathy Rice and Tim Burke (Lori); and his grandchildren, Kristi Hoffer (Matt), Michael Burke, Tyler McCord (Sarah), Kali Longoria (Jehiah), Luke Smith (Michelle), Jacob Smith and Steven Gregory. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale Free Methodist Church, your local humane society or please plant a tree in honor of Lou's memory.
