He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine McRae; his parents, Donald McRae and Loretta McRae; his siblings, Lee McRae, Geraldine Hollingsworth and Judith McRae; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn McRae and Bill Leavitt; and his nephew Aaron Leavitt.

He is survived by: his siblings, Alan McRae (Carol), Darlene Leavitt, Linda From (Lamar) and Nancy Marson (Steve); and his significant other Donna Van Gessel.
