It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. Smith of Reading, Michigan, born in Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Smith and Irma Smith (Fisher); his siblings, Randy Egger and Tina Armstrong; and his grandchildren, Kate Brown and Devon Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Smith; his daughters, Angie McNair (Jerry) of Pittsford and Jamie Smith of Hillsdale; his stepsons, Josh and Jeremy Pauken; his grandchildren, Megan Watza (Tim), Jacob Brown (Dorothy), Samantha Brown, Damion Scott, Duncan Scott (Savannah) and Doug Scott; his great grandchildren, Ava Bump, Jaylinn Scott, Lilyana Scott, Ivy Scott and Violet Scott; and his siblings, Paul Smith (Glenda), Dan Smith (Teresa) and Robin Cassiday (Char). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
