It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Spier of Reading, Michigan, born in Plymouth, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Spier and Helen Spier (Williamson); his wife Lona Daglow; his children, Brenda VanHoosear of Reading and Doug Spier of Reading; his grandchildren, Chanda Hoyt (Doug), Sadie Miller (Jimmy Heathcoe), Shannon Guiter (Gage) and Kristen Spier; his great grandchildren, Lizabella, Fayelea, Ryan and Douglas; his sister Cathy Denning; his sister-in-law Donna Spier; and his brother Bob Spier.

No more than 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time and face coverings with social distancing will be required.
