He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Estel Sr. and Marcile Miller (Carpenter); and his siblings, Lucy Parrish, Roberta Lutz, Prudy Baldwin and Gary Estel.
He is survived by: his wife Verna (Lape); his children, Teresa Rathbun (Tim Roberts) of Litchfield and Frank Estel (Myrtle) of Hillsdale; and his siblings, Debra Mullinix of Litchfield, Anthony Estel (Cheryl) of Hillsdale, Robert Estel Jr. (Sandy) of Hillsdale and Dale Baughman (Christy) of Litchfield. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
