He was predeceased by: his brother Howard Kinney; his daughter Karla Young (Kinney); his son-in-law John Cooney; and his granddaughter Suzanne Cooney. He is survived by: his wife Eloise (Warner); and his children, Gary Kinney (Sally), Larry Kinney, Carol Gier (Stan) and Kathy Cooney. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County or Hillsdale Senior Center.
