He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy Maluchnik; his children, Shelly Masakowski (Maluchnik) and Mike Maluchnik; his grandson Ethan Masakowski; his siblings, Terry Maluchnik (Christine), Tom Maluchnik (Joan) and Edward Maluchnik (Shellie); and his nephews, Kevin Maluchnik, Erik Maluchnik, Nicholas Maluchnik (Julia), Matthew Maluchnik and Justin Maluchnik (Grace).
