He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marcus and Iva Hattie Yax (Green); his significant other Helen; and his siblings, Louis, Bruce, Stanley, Verla and Wayne.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce Yax (Peggy) of Otter Lake, Brenda Morgan (Bob) of Hale, Bonnie Spaulding (Fred) of Ray Twp, Brian Yax (Wendy) of Metamora and Teri Janulis (Jeffrey) of Shelby Twp. He is also survived by grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
