Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Ann Jacobson (Ravenna, Michigan), born in Casnovia, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 81, on May 11, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry VanderZanden and Shirley VanderZanden (Herrygers); and her brothers, Bill, Hank Jr. and Carl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Anderson (Marty), Tammy Savage (John), Amy Traxler (Dennis) and Paula Mol (Dan); her siblings, Jack VanderZanden (Carol), Jim VanderZanden (Kelli), Stella Weston, Barb Emmory (Arnold), Jeanie Grice (Fred), Theresa Westcott (Gary) and Rita Mortensen (Mark); and her sister-in-law Sue VanderZanden. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Music Department of either St. Jude Catholic Church in Grand Rapids or St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Ravenna, Faith Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
