He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Don DeGlopper, Edward and Eleanor Van Gent; his uncle Chris DeGlopper; his aunt Pamela Finger; and his father-in-law Harold Moore.
He is survived by: his parents, Elliott Gent and Diana Van Gent (DeGlopper); his wife Angie Van Gent; his daughters, Abbey, MacKenzie, Lacey, Taylor and Gracelynn; his mother-in-law Robin Moore; his siblings, Erica Haveman (David), Blake Van Gent (Marie) and Kaylena Cloutier (Tim); and his grandmother Sherrill DeGlopper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ravenna Baptist Church (3186 Blackmer Rd, Ravenna, MI 49451). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Mitch's family.
