He was predeceased by: his parents, Nestor Patana and Sofie Patana (Niemi); his siblings, Richard Patana and Florence Hodges (Richard); his nephews, Shane Moser and Michael Miilu; and also, Darlene, Lawrence Sauve and Allen Moser.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Audra Spielman (Mark) of Nelson, British Columbia and Beth Larson (Gary Karp) of Gladstone, MI; his grandchildren, Lucas, Max, Gunnar and Ahna; his sister Kristina Miilu (Eino) of Mass City, MI; and his parents-in-law, Sandi Patana, Clif Moser (Gail) and Carole Moser (Ted Morrison). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
