With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank J. Lundberg of Rapid River, Michigan, who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Alexander Lundberg; his wife Alice Lundberg (Whybrew); his mother Margaret Lundberg (Lunzman); his in-laws, Albert and Genevieve Whybrew (Wylie); and his daughter-in-law Michele Marie Lundberg (Morin).
He is survived by: his sons, James Lundberg (Fran) and David Lundberg (Cheryl); his stepgrandchildren, JoAnne Spence (Ryan), Angela Lopac (Chris), Amy Lundberg, Benjamin Lundberg, Kelly Weerts (Will) and Kevin Brienen (Amy); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Beyne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (10439 Wisconsin Ave, Rapid River, MI 49878). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rapid River Cemetery (10418 Whitefish Hill Dr, Rapid River, MI 49878).
