It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles L. Newman of Rapid River, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Newman and Rita Newman (Lutz); his former wife Rosemary; his children, Marshall Newman and Carrie Paholak; and his brother Harold Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Newman (Collins); and his children, Linda Verscheuren (Les), Sally Shoener (Bill), Mary Medley (Bob), Katy Steines (Dave), Thomas Newman (Margaret), Jeffrey Newman, Gary Dall (Jan) and Glen Dall (Shelly). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
