It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Engel Jr. of Rapid River, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Sr. Engel and Clara Engel (Shymanski); his daughter Nina LeCuyer; his son-in-law Dale Ingebrigtsen; and his siblings, Connie Shivers and Jim Engel.
He is survived by: his wife Iola Haglund; his children, Brenda Carey (Ernest), Rhonda Ingebrigtsen, Mona Shipman (William), Carl Engel (Diane) and Paul Engel (Elizabeth); and his son-in-law Mike LeCuyer. He is also survived by numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, and cousins; 1 great-great-grandchild.
