It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Erma Edna Deater of Rapid City, Michigan, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Barber and Carrie Barber (Sattler); and her siblings, Florence, Louise, Donna, Mac, Glenn, Pearl, Leda, Guy, Leo, Vera and Dawn.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Childs (Dennis), Harold Deater (Julie), Dale Gaylord (Michael) and Rocklin "Rocky" Deater (Lorena). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eden Center Memory Care in Kalkaska or the Rapid City Church of Christ.
