He is survived by: his brother-in-law Bruce Powers; his wife Cheryl Forstrom; his children, Derek "Dek" Forstrom, Douglas Forstrom (Paula) and Anna Forstrom (Rick); his grandchildren, Cheryl Jean, Jessica, Michael, Sarah, Gunnar, Steven and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Brielle and Bristol.
