He was predeceased by: his parents, Liston Peterson and Ruth Peterson (Kiser); his wife Jenice "Sue" (Smith); and his brother Larry Peterson. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Rhonda Cheney (Jeff Smith), Sharmaine Balcita (Gino) and Gary Hester (Angela); and his siblings, Rosalee Nivison and Ronnie Peterson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church or Quincy American Legion.
