He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo "Whitey" and Bessie Knowles (Noblit); his sister Betty Thomas; and his former wife Kay Knowles. He is survived by: his daughters, Melisa Graber (Shane) and Lori Hardy; his sister Bonnie Curtis; his girlfriend Janet Hurst; and his grandchildren, EJ VanNuys (Michelle), Matthew VanNuys (Grace), Kaitlin Hodgson (Jake), Samantha Hardy (Mike Clevenger) and Madison Hardy. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
