She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Maki and Jennie Maki (Kallio); and her spouse Wilho Pekkala. She is survived by: her children, John Pekkala (Tami), James Pekkala, Jane Reoch and Joan Sisemore; and her grandchildren, Colin Pekkala (Jordanne), Keon Sisemore, Devlin Sisemore and Matthew Reoch. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
