She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Pierson and Thelma Pierson (Spieth); and her brother Michael Pierson. She is survived by : her son Shannon Heckart of Quincy; her granddaughter Gracie Heckart of Quincy; her siblings, Cathy Suever (Glenn) of Quincy, Lori Luce (Scott) of Quincy and Martin Pierson (LuAnne) of Battle Creek; her sister-in-law Julie Pierson; and her former life partner Jeff Heckart.
