He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest and Roberta; his son Aaron Thorp; his sister Roseann Moilanen; and his sister-in-law Sherry Rumsey.
He is survived by: his spouse Lisa Rowe; his children, Allison Stockford (Brett Holbrook) of Jonesville, Amber Carter (Justin) of Brussels, Belgium and Adam Thorp of Jonesville; and his half-brother Jerry Gustly of Moscow. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
