It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Spurlock of Quincy, Michigan, born in London, Kentucky, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spurlock and Maude Spurlock (Sizemore); and his sister Evelyn Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Elinor Price; his daughters, Debbie Husk (Joel) of Lake Orion, Vicky Strang (Tim) of Adrian and Jamie Spurlock of Quincy; his grandchildren, Troy Husk (Lindsay), Christy Flory (Greg), Matthew Strang (Michelle), Andrea Morgan (Tyler), Lisa Haas (Levi), Brandon, Alyssa, Andrew and Benjamin Henderson; and his brother Glen Spurlock (Mary). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church of Litchfield or Calvary Baptist Church in Quincy.
