He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Herman Lee and Mildred Snyder (Wetzel); his wife Joan Snyder (Rothermel); his sons, Glenn (Julie Snyder) and Andrew (Angela Snyder); his sister Ruby; his grandchildren, Phillip, Mary Snyder (Reed), Sarah, Eric Roth, Kyle and Brianna Snyder (Mahathy); his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Paige Snyder, Julianna, Alexia, Emalyn Roth, Tanner, Asher Snyder, Bryant, Linda Rothermel, Steve and Janet Rothermel; his sister-in-law Lucille Rothermel; his parents-in-law, Paul and Arlene Rothermel (Bahner); and his brothers, Kenneth (Rita Snyder), Carl and Larry Rothermel. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to either Lockwood Community Church Benevolent Fund, the Beginning Care for Life / Branch County or to the Gideon Bible Society International can be made.
