He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellwood G. Varino and Fannie G. Varino (Gordon); his children, Duane "Ray" Varino and Jodi Lentz; and his brother Dexter Varino.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Zimmerman; his children, Leasa Allen (Robert) of Gowen, Scott Reppert (Susan) of Reading, Stacy Charles (Steve) of Kinross, Melissa Varino (Ron Hagle) of Pleasant Lake and Debra K. Varino (Rebecca) of Hartford; and his sister Verla Varino of Texas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
