He is survived by : his children, Evelyn Harper-Waters and David Harper; and his nieces and nephews, Diana Dooley (Ed), Brenda Hackett (Ed), Judy Shepherd (Rick), Wanda Brown, Dale Brown (Laurie), Tom Brown, Darinda Nelson, Delores Morgano (Mark), David Dean (Melinda) and Daniel Dean.
