Carol Deetta Gates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Deetta Gates (Quincy, Michigan), born in Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on November 13, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold J. Gates and Pauline Gates (Kaiser); her daughter Cynthia Coonce-Bowerman; her brother Doug Gates; and her grandchildren, Cayla Bowerman and Kyle Bowerman.
She is survived by: her sons, Edwin Bowerman (Thelma) of Quincy, Scott Bowerman of Quincy, Joseph Bowerman of Quincy and Brian Bowerman (Zail) of Quincy; and her sister Mary Collard of Marshall. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Quincy Historical Society.
