She was predeceased by : her parents, Barney Stempien and Maxine Stempien (Matz); her husband Robert P. Kennedy; and her sons, Joshua and Paul Kennedy.

She is survived by : her daughters, Charity Smith of Oakwood, OH and Lacy Kennedy of Quincy; her siblings, Cindy VanderHoff of Coldwater, Tena Barone (Paul) of Bronson and Michael Stempien (Patty) of Allen; and her grandchildren, Gavin Smith, Paige Smith, Alexis Kennedy, Teagan Payne, Joshua Wheaton and Karlee Thoerner.
