He was predeceased by: his parents, August Zurawski and Catherine Zurawski (Murphy); and his siblings, August (Casmira) and Marion O'Donovan (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Mary Agnes Zurawski (Turk); his children, August (Kathleen), Mary and Elizabeth Doherty (Martin); and his grandchildren, Michael, Zachary Zurawski, Kevin, Margaret, Mary Kate and Anne Doherty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James' name to Hospice of Holland, 270 Hoover Blvd., Holland, MI 49423.
