He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Pendergrass and Ann Pendergrass; his wife Laura Lee Pendergrass; his son Arty Pendergrass (Sister Brenda Pendergrass); and his brothers, Harold and Gary Pendergrass.

He is survived by: his son Michael Pendergrass; his siblings, Carl Pendergrass, Charley Pendergrass, Danny Pendergrass (Mary), Jan Smith (Gene), Cheryl Pendergrass and Roxann Matrau; his sisters-in-law, Kris Pendergrass and Peggy Pendergrass; and his pets, Molly, Missy and Scarlett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
