With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LeRoy J DeWeese of Prudenville, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry DeWeese and Harriet DeWeese (Kasprowicz); and his siblings, Richard DeWeese and Dorothy Randolph. He is survived by: his wife Susan L. DeWeese; his son Joseph J. DeWeese (Lynn); his granddaughters, Rebecca and Rachel; and his siblings, Robert DeWeese (Sylvia), Gary Price (Lucille), David Price (Diane) and Ginger Little (Jerry Smith). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel (6651 W Houghton Lake Dr, Houghton Lake, MI 48629). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at the Denton Township Cemetery (4061 W Nestel Rd, Prudenville, MI 48651).
