James McDowell Jr.; his stepmother Nancy McDowell; his siblings, Jeffrey McDowell (Paula), Kenneth McDowell, Douglas McDowell (Maria), Catherine DeCaen (Neil) and Daniel McDowell; his nieces and nephews, Thomas Mohlmaster, Patricia King, Joshua McDowell, James McDowell III, Douglas McDowell, Kaitlyn McDowell, Thaddaeus DeCaen, Snowy DeCaen and Michael McDowell; and his aunt Mary Nicholas (Tommie).
