He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wiergowski and Alice Wiergowski (Verity); his stepfather Harry Hoffacker; his sister Mary Kay Wilson; his stepbrother Dale Strauer; and his grandson Alex Metevia.
He is survived by: his wife Deb; his son Jordan Wiergowski (Julie); his stepchildren, Chris Searfoss, Neil Metevia, Clint Metevia and Krystal Metevia; his grandchildren, Austin Metevia, Ella Metevia, Alessandra Metevia and John Anthony Wiergowski; and his stepsiblings, Fred Strauer (Julie) and Tarri Saunders (John).
